Dan Wiedenhaupt, Sam Benatovich, and Paul Salamon in Hamlet Spring 2006
The Spring Play is a show case for the Advanced Acting class. Rehearsals begin in January and take place within the school day until the week of performance in May. An extended, in class rehearsal process helps to build a strong ensemble, and allows for in depth character development and intensive mining of the text. The choice of play is dependent on the skills and qualities of the members of the class. The script can be either an existing play or an original play written by the class.
